SCIENCE AND READING:

It’s the LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL!!!!! Students spent this week doing wrap-up activities, award ceremonies, and getting ready for a great summer vacation. Congratulations 7C for a job well done!!!!!

SCIENCE:

Students completed the workbook check on Chapter 9 and selected chapter review questions on pages 208 and 236 in the science textbook.

We finished watching the movie: “Zachary Beaver Comes to Town” and discussed similarities and differences between the novel and the movie.

Students checked and corrected the worksheet on symmetry and checked workbook pages 58–61 for corrections and discussion. We also completed section 3 on “Arthropods and Arachnids” in the workbook (pages 63 and 64) as well as a reinforcement worksheet on the subject.

HOMEWORK: FINISH WORKSHEET AND WORKBOOK PAGES IF YOU DID NOT FINISH THEM IN CLASS.

READING:

We completed the test over the novel “Zachary Beaver Comes to Town”. Afterwards, students spent the remainder of the class finishing up their novel activities packets and getting A.R. points.

Students answered discussion questions from last night’s reading assignment of chapters 13 and 14 of the class novel. We also spent time silently reading the next two chapter (15 and 16).

SCIENCE:

Students observed animal behaviors by completing a science lab involving earthworms.

HOMEWORK:

Study for your test tomorrow on chapter 7.

READING:

Students continued to read and discuss the class novel, “Zachary Beaver Comes to Town” (Chapters 10 and 11).

Complete the discussion questions for these two particular chapters.
