Science:

We are starting a new chapter in science today. Students were introduced to

chapter 11 on “body systems” by covering Section one and two notes as well as completing section one and two vocabulary words.

Homework:

Complete workbook pages 86-90 for sections one and two (Chapter 11).

Reading:

We discussed the differences between themes and plots. We also  read and discussed the story “Hearts and Hands” in the textbook.  Students began group work on identifying themes as well.

Homework:

Write a paragraph about your favorite movie, book, or t.v. show. Identify the theme, plot, and main characters. Make sure you underline each of them in your paragraph.
