SCIENCE:

Welcome back Dragons!!!!!!I hope your Thanksgiving break was a great and exciting one. Now its back to work (for at least another month). We began today by creating outlines for science and defining vocabulary words on the unit on “Plants”. Today was also the last day to catch up on any incomplete work on “Body Systems” in the teen health book.

No homework!!
REMINDER: VOCABULARY QUIZ ON THURSDAY ON PLANTS

READING:

We picked back up where we left off on reading aloud and discussing the book “Sounder”. Students were able to sucessfully finish chapter one today. We were delayed due to book report presentations before the Thanksgiving Break.
Students finished the class by working on vocabulary development worksheets for chapter one.

Homework:

Study for vocabulary/spelling quiz on Wednesday!!!!
