SCIENCE:

Today in class we discussed and analyzed how all living organisms are scientifically grouped and classified using taxonomy. We also briefly touched on the five major kingdoms. Tomorrow we will begin looking at the “Plant” kingdom.

Homework:

Scientifically classify one plant and one animal using the order of taxonomy. Make sure your work is turned in on a half of poster board (Include pictures). Deadline is Thursday!!!!

REMINDER: Vocabulary quiz on Thursday (Plants)

READING:

Today we worked on charactization sheets used to help analyze the main characters in the book: “Sounder”. Students also began reading chapter two. Tomorrow we will continue to read Chapter two after our voc/spelling test on chapter one.

Homework:

Study for your vocabulary/spelling test on chapter one!!!!!!
