SCIENCE:

Students reviewed elements on the periodic table and began discussing the properties of compounds. Students also completed notebook outline questions for section 20.2 on “compounds”. Turn in your worksheet packets on elements today!!!!!

Homework:
Study and memorize the 26 symbols of the elements given in class last week. There will be a short quiz at the beginning of class tomorrow.

REMINDER:

COLLAGES ON “ELEMENTS, COMPOUNDS, AND MIXTURES ” are due next Tuesday Feb 5th!!!!

READING:

Students began collection six in the reading textbook” Greek Myths and Old Folktales”. Students discussed the difference between myths and folktales and how they relate to our world today.

HOMEWORK:

Finish “KWL” worksheet given out in class today.
