SCIENCE:
“Catch-up Day” on missing assignments. Students opted to retake chapter 20 vocab. quiz and completed work from overhead on “Mixtures”. Students also checked the worksheet on “Great Combinations” (Compound formulas).
HOMEWORK: Now is the time to be working on your collages of “Elements, Compounds, and Mixtures”. Remember it is due next Tuesday Feb. 5th!!!!
READING:
Students worked on creating Vocabulary trees using root words, suffixes, and prefixes (pages 650–653 in the reading textbook.
Homework: Finish voc.trees if you did not finish in class.
