SCIENCE:
We discussed weather and the formation of clouds. We also discussed the different types of air masses and fronts that are created due to the changes in weather patterns. Students finished the class by completing a brief vocabulary quiz on the assigned vocabulary terms for chapter 15 and 16.

READING
We discussed the elements of a good writing essay (using a powerpoint presentation as a guide). Students also completed a proofreading writing exercise to finish out the class period.
